Extreme Rappels will be raising and lowering the flags on Bridge Day™, Saturday, October 18, 2008.  At 8:15 AM, climbers will ascend the rope with the US and West Virginia flags.  Around 3 PM, Mark Seyfang and John Wisher will lower the flags on a tandem rappel.

We are submitting TWO teams this year; John Cadle will be the Group leader for Team #2; all monies must be paid in advance in order to insure application packages are done early.

We have 5 open spots.  Please let me know ASAP if you plan to attend or decline to ensure we have the minimum number to apply.  The maximum team size is 14.  We currently have a full rope team and will select the team members for the second team in the order that we receive and approve application and necessary fees.

 eXTreme Rappels do a number of things for the Bridge Day event which adds to the event for the team members who want to help out, Thursday the 16th assist with the Highline rigging, Friday the 17th rig and hang banners off top of the bridge and secure the drop lines to the cat walk and rig the rappel line for the Raising and Lowering of the Colors for the Bridge Day event, an Extreme Rappels original event, we select groups to highlight this each year and are currently working on this years tandems for the event.

APPLICATION AND FEES: 

1) Please read the application carefully, front and back. Fill out both sides of the application.  Section 4 has 5 places that need your initials, signature on front and back is required. Link: http://bridgedayrappel.com/application.htm  this application is not up to date, as of this mailing.  Please use the one I have supplied.

2) Make one check for $189.00 payable to Extreme Rappels, LLC, $129 is non-refundable once we send in the package. Fees cover the      cost of rope usage and rigging gear, BRIDGE DAY TEAM & APPLICATION FEE, breakfast for two days, two nights camping, and transportation for the event. 

3)  I need a jpeg photo of you.

 DEADLINE/PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

March 14, 2008:  Please submit your applications and down payment of the $60.00 TEAM FEE (if at any time you choose to pay the entire package fee, it would be greatly appreciated)

April 4, 2008: Second payment of $69.00 ( you can submit the entire $129.00 if you wish)

April 25, 2008: Third and final payment of $60.00, If there are any needed revisions to your applications they too will need to be submitted by this date.
