Summary of Climbing Rappelling and Caving experience:
 
1994:  I was introduced into wild caving by Jeff Barbour and Bill Stone. I joined the National Speleological Society.  I have caved in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky , Tennessee and Virginia..
My vertical experience started in Bowden Cave in West Virginia.  I have rappelled thru the groundhog hole 30ft and the Bowen drop in Organ Cave, 90ft.
 
1992:  I started my vertical rope career by rock climbing with my brother in-law at the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, AZ.  In 1994, I took 2 climbing courses at Seneca Rocks West Virginia. Rappelling classes are taught in the Old Man’s Cave area of Ohio, 120ft.  The New River Gorge Bluffs in West Virginia, 80 to 120ft.  Bone Quarry and Maxwelton cliff in Lewisburg, West Virginia, 100ft.  I have done training for the Local fire Departments, Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and Ohio University of Zanesville.  Constructed 40 ft climb rappel tower for Muskingum Council of Boy Scouts of America, Coshocton, Ohio.
 
1994 to 2002:  Team member of the annual Bridge Day event, New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia, 876 ft.
 
2003 to 2007:  Co-leader and Rig assistant of the annual Bridge Day event.

2008: Rope Leader for XTR Rope #2 of the annual Bridge Day event.
 
1996 to 2003:  Co-leader and assistant Rig master of the annual Whiteside Mountain rappel event in North Carolina, 700ft rappel.
 
2004: Leader and Rig master of the annual Whiteside Mountain rappel event in North Carolina, 700ft rappel.

 
2001:  Member of the Elcap expedition in Yosemite National Park, 2650ft

2004 and 2007:  Co-leader and rigging coordinator for the Elcap expedition in Yosemite National Park, 2650ft.
 
1996 to present:  Rock climbing in the New River Gorge and Seneca Rocks West Virginia and local sandstone cliffs in Ohio.  Training consists of anchors and belays, climbing techniques, self rescue and safety, top roping climbs, multi-pitch lead climbs and multi-pitch rappels, etc. 
 
2004: Top rope climbing in Yosemite National Park

2003 to present:  Secretary of Extreme Rappels, LLC. (XTR)  Goal is to provide world class rappels to experience climbers and rappellers.
